Tectonic Space 2017-2018
In 2017, Libby Formant and Benjamin Jancewicz cofounded and opened Tectonic Space Art Gallery in Baltimore, MD. Through Tectonic Space, Formant curated and co-curated over a dozen art shows, including pop up exhibitions with partnering institutions. Many 2019 shows were co curated and assisted by Ky Vassor. Additionally, in the year and a half of operation, the gallery hosted over fifty independent and partnered events.

Carroll Museums 2013-2015
While working with Carroll Museums, the Baltimore museum collection consisting of the Carroll Mansion and the Phoenix Shot Tower, Libby Formant curated art exhibitions and events connecting with the Mansion’s history.

University of Maryland School of Pharmacy 2012-2013
In 2012, the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy hired Libby Formant to curate a historical exhibition of their collection. Formant performed extensive researched and worked closely with designers, maintenance, chemists, and environmental safety to construct an exhibition showcasing the institutions many historical items.
